Who we are
DARO (formerly Ajah) is a social enterprise based in Montreal, Canada, that works with governments, nonprofits, and funders to design strategies that increase the availability and utility of their data. Their work is focused on applying their unique combination of expertise - in technology, governance, and the nonprofit sector - to solve systemic problems, build long-term solutions, and develop sustainable governance frameworks.
Carleton University is an English-language public research university in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Carleton University is the academic partner on this project, connecting the CaNDL to both the academic and applied research communities. Its Masters of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership (MPNL) program is a primary provider of graduate education in nonprofit studies in Canada.
